SYNOPSISLike the Universe itself, our understanding of the Universeis (hopefully) always expanding!This book explains what happened at the creation of the universe: the so-called'Big Bang'; discussing the many events that took place within the first fewmilliseconds of the life of the universe. Readers are invited to consider howlife exists both on a scale that is infinitely large (the planets and stars that makeup the universe), down to one that is minutely small (elementary particles);and to consider how the theories behind these concepts can be reconciled.A novel description of the Universe is presented in this book: it is basedon an immediate BIG CRUNCH (BC) that followed the Initial Cosmic BIGBANG (BB). Due to the formation of Primordial Black Holes (PBHs)occurring almost simultaneously to the BB, a HUGE amount of Energy wastaken back into the PBHs. We are calling this re-absorption, "the BIGCRUNCH"; while acknowledging, along with the recent Bellini & Garcia*postulation, that the PBHs themselves are the leading candidates for DarkMatter in our Universe (which makes up 27% of the Universe). This modelfurther accurately predicts that because of the BC, we will have 68% darkenergy (supported by the existence of at least two concentric rings recentlyfound in the Cosmic Microwave Background*). To conclude, this model ishighly consistent with the generally accepted concept that the universe is made_up of 27% dark matter and 68% dark energy. Remarkably, this means thatAFTER THE BIG BANG COULD COME THE BIG CRUNCH • VEVERYTHING that we can see, such as our galaxy and other galaxies, makeup just approximately 5%, (4.8%), of the Universe!A clear explanation is given of many hitherto inaccessible concepts suchas cosmological inflation, Hawking radiation, primordial black holes andquantum mechanics. The universally accepted ideas about the evolution of theuniverse, as well as those that are more bizarre and outlandish, are presented.Ultimately, readers are invited to think 3:bout whether and how ouruniverse experienced the "BIG CRUNCH." If proven correct, then this bookhas the potential to completely change our view of the universe.Disclaimer: This book will have many detractors and critics because themodel we propose is not based on Einstein's theory of General Relativity. Theequations of general relativity are highly nonlinear, and are almost impossibleto solve, even with the most sophisticated supercomputers. The model wepropose is based on Newton's equations of mass and energy- and are easy tosolve. We strongly believe that this model is directionally correct and couldbe nearly 100% correct.
